Grossglockner high alpine road from Schareck

There are several ways to get up to the top of Schareck to start this tour.

You can go up with the cable car, from the Heiligenblut lower station. There is a parking garage not far from the village-center (follow the bus parking sign).

You can go up to the middle station of the same calbe car, accessible from the Grossglockner-Hochalpenstrasse, the parking place is limited here though.

Or you can take the Grissglockner panorama cable car accessible from a higher point of the Grossglockner-Hochalpenstrasse with plenty of parking places.

Take a note when the last ride goes back down, or you may need to walk down to Heiligenblut which is a fun hike btw.... :)
