Von Birkfeld über den Hollersbachgraben (Schotterstraße) zum Gschaidwirt und dann hinauf zur Wolfgrube. Von dort auf einem schönen Waldweg zum Schloffereck und auf der Asphaltstraße zum Kreuzwirt (Richtung Vorau). Von hier führt ein Weg auf Forststraßen und Asphaltstraßen gemütlich nach Wenigzell und auf Waldwegen weiter nach St. Jakob im Walde. Nun geht es steil bergauf zum Berggasthof Krutzler und weiter auf Waldwegen zum GH Orthofer. Von dort hinunter nach Ratten und auf dem Feistritztalradweg R8 zurück nach Birkfeld.
