Il primo trato ricalca il percorso sci alpinistico ma a metà salita si continuerà sulla stradina a destra della ex pista fino a raggiungere la cresta, da qui si scenderà al Forcellino passando dal Belvedere e dalla casa museo "Villa Gerosa". Al termine della discesa, una stradina inizialmente pianeggiante poi in leggera salita vi condurrà al traguardo
