Der Weg verläuft im Tal auf der Trasse der einstigen Hauptstraße des Harbachtals, parallel zur Wusch (Schmalspurbahn, außer Betrieb). Die Strecke ist eben und leicht zu gehen. An einigen Stellen fehlt der Weg, dort muss auf die Gleise der Wusch ausgewichen werden.
