Die ersten beiden Kilometer gehen steil bergauf über Serpentinen durch Geröll und Gestein. Nach diesem Aufstieg ist der Rest der Wanderung eigentlich problemlos zu bewältigen. Meist geht es abwärts, zunächst über eine Landstraße, später durch Wald und die Wanderwege führen über breite in den Wald gehauene Feuerschneisen.
