    De Pico Grande is niet de hoogste berg van Madeira, maar wel de markantste.

    Wellicht is dit  een van de zwaarste tochten op Madeira.

    Sommige stukken zijn lastig en overwoekerd. Bij nat weer kan het glad zijn.
