Von Riva aus gehen wir auf einem Schotterweg der alten Ponalestraße nach bis zum Ausflugslokal Belvedere. Ab dem Ausflugslokal dann auf Asphaltwegen durch die Ortschaft Pregasina. Durch einen Wald steigt die Route immer noch weiter an bis zur Punta Larici. Von dort geht es über Calcherole zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.
